He is a Vietnam veteran, ’68-’69, serving in the 4th Infantry Division, Artillery. He is the recipient of Medals for his heroic actions while under heavy enemy rocket and mortar attacks. His disability injuries were a result of these incoming barrages. Bill’s education includes degrees in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, and Business Administration/Management from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. His storied career in engineering/management/entrepreneur, crosses a number of industries and technologies. This varied and extensive background provides a valuable knowledge base for STATZ Corporation to provide a special level of service as a SDV Dealer, to both our customers and suppliers.

Served as an Aviation Electronics Technician 2nd Class Petty Officer (AT2) in the U.S. Navy from ’97-’01 in support of the now retired SH-60B LAMPS platform. Education includes B.S. in Business Administration from California State University San Marcos and A.S. in Computer and Information Science from San Diego Mesa College. Rickey’s career
includes several years of providing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) to Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) and Program Executive Officer, Command, Control, Communication, Computers and
Intelligence (PEO C4I) in support of weapons system acquisitions. The experience gained from military service and acquisition logistics support has proven invaluable as Contract Administrator and serves as a nice complement to the engineering and manufacturing experience of Mr. Statz.
