STATZ Corporation was founded as an SDVOSB in 2004 by Bill Statz in Cross Plains, WI. We are celebrating 12 years of supplying the federal government and serving our troops and suppliers. In that time, STATZ Corp has grown to become the second largest SDVOSB, and seventh largest small business government contractor in Wisconsin for 2015, with Prime contracts valued at $10,000,000. Growth is on pace to make us #1 by the end of 2016, with contracts at the annualized value of nearly $20,000,000.

The Statz family has a long history in the great state of Wisconsin. His great-grandfather, along with 3 of his brothers, all 4 immigrated with their families, coming to the Cross Plains area from Germany in the 1850’s. Bill is a 3rd generation native born, all USA Badger! A number of his extended family members served in WWII, with one cousin KIA in the South Pacific, and another first cousin with a colorful and bloody battles tour in Europe as infantry, and as a jeep driver for General Patton. There were also several cousins who served during the Korean war, but fortunately, no casualties.

Our founder, William “Bill” Statz served in the Vietnam war when he was just 19. He was a graduate of the Artillery NCO Academy at Fort Sill, OK, and served in Vietnam during 1968-69 as a Staff Sergeant E6, Chief of Firing Battery. He is a decorated war hero, and sustained his disability injuries while under heavy rocket, mortar, and perimeter attacks by the North Vietnam Army. A number of his comrades are listed on the Vietnam Memorial Wall.
